Whereas the Academy describes the RISEuP system, the Playground shows you how it actually works. This is where preparation, test-taking, questions, and reflection come together in real time.
What the Playground Is (and Is Not)
The Playground is not a traditional question bank. Although it will cover substantial content over time, its purpose is to deliberately model how effective learners think, prepare, execute, and adapt. Content matters, but only insofar as it serves that process.
The Playground is designed to complement the Academy, not replace it. The work here presumes you have already built foundational structure and familiarity with the RISEuP method. Through a guided, question-based experience, the Playground focuses on applying those strategies in real time.
What Happens in Each Question
Each question is treated as a learning event. You will see:
- How test-taking techniques interface with preparatory structure
- How frameworks are built, stress-tested, and revised
- How microcontent is identified and integrated within your learning framework
- How notes evolve as understanding sharpensHow personal reflection identifies which component of the system needs adjustment
- The goal is not simply to get the question right, but to understand why a given approach worked, or failed, and what to change next.
The Singular Purpose
The singular purpose of the Playground is to model learning behaviors. By seeing these methods applied repeatedly, across disciplines and scenarios, you will learn to recognize the patterns yourself. Collectively, core behaviors are reinforced. Over time, the techniques become familiar and usable under pressure.
Align preparation, execution, and reflection. Improvement takes care of itself.
The Future
The Playground will grow and expand over the upcoming academic year. The current videos were developed to support the launch of the website and the Academy in particular. In time, the video library will become a comprehensive resource, focusing not only on how to prepare, but as with the 12DaysinMarch website, on what to know and how that material will be tested.
